On February 7, 2026 HMA Mesa team competed at Fresno State across three sessions, HMA
MESA teams competed in multiple events and earned a total of 14 podium finishes. Some key
highlights from the competition include:
Team success: 7 of 8 teams earned at least one podium finish, meaning 88 percent of our
teams placed at least once.
Multiple top-three finishes: 4 of 8 teams earned two or more podium finishes, showing
consistent high-level performance across sessions.
High-level placements: Of the 14 podium finishes, 12 were first or second place,
demonstrating that the majority of our results came at the very top.
Star performers: Micah Bailey, Jocelyn Martinez, Chelsea Gamboa, and Francisco Arce
each earned multiple first-place finishes, highlighting individual excellence alongside
team success.
These results reflect not only strong problem-solving skills but also teamwork, persistence, and
dedication.
